The State Bank of India (SBI) has issued the admit card for the preliminary examination of Probationary Officers (PO) for 2025. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website at sbi.co.in using their registration number and password. The exams are scheduled to be held on August 2, 4, and 5, 2025.
This recruitment drive seeks to fill 541 PO positions, comprising 500 regular vacancies and 41 backlog vacancies. Successful candidates for the PO posts can anticipate a monthly salary of Rs 41,960.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern
The SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination features objective-type questions with a total score of 100 marks. Candidates have one hour to complete the exam, which is divided into three sections: English Language (30 marks), Numerical Ability (30 marks), and Reasoning (35 marks). Each section is allotted 20 minutes. Every question is worth one mark, and each incorrect answer incurs a penalty of one-fourth of a mark.
SBI PO Recruitment 2025: What After Prelims
Candidates who successfully pass the prelims exam will move on to the main exam, tentatively scheduled for September. The SBI PO mains exam, conducted online, has two parts: objective and descriptive. The results of the mains exam will be declared in September or October. Those who clear the main examination will proceed to the interview process and then to document verification. The final stage consisting of psychometric test, group exercises and interview will be held in October or November.
