NEET PG 2024 Schedule: NBEMS Issues Notice Over Fake Social Media Information

NBEMS issued a notice after certain pages on the internet have been trying to mislead students regarding the schedule of the NEET 2024 examination
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has recently issued a notice regarding fake messages and information that is being spread on social media. The medical board has warned all the fake pages that have been circulating fake notices regarding the revised schedule of NEET PG 2024. The notice was issued by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) on their official website, natboard.edu.in. It has been issued after certain pages on the internet have been trying to mislead students regarding the schedule of the NEET 2024 examination.
The NBEMS mentioned in their notice, “It has come to the notice of NBEMS that some unscrupulous agents/touts are making false and bogus claims to the candidates and using spoofed notices, emails, SMS, or contents on social media in the name of NBEMS for phishing. Also, some fake notices are being circulated in social media regarding the announcement of a revised schedule for the conduct of NEET-PG 2024.”

They also mentioned that since July 2020, all the notices that are officially issued by the NBEMS bear a QR code. If people can scan the QR code, they will be redirected to the notice board of the NBEMS. This has helped them to maintain the authenticity of the information released by the medical board.
Apart from that, they also revealed information about their official website. The notice has advised candidates only to refer to the official website links for any information about examinations conducted by NBEMS. Candidates can check the official websites of NBEMS — natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.
NBEMS has also clarified that the medical board has no official account on any of the social media platforms, including “X”. They have also mentioned in the notice that they do not send any email or SMS to candidates regarding securing good marks in any of the exams conducted by NBEMS.
In the end, they have advised candidates to be aware of any SMS or email on social media that spreads false information regarding NBEMS. They also advised candidates to carefully cross-check the information and if they receive any unscrupulous messages, they must immediately report them at ‘https://exam.natboard.edu.in/communication.php?page=main’ or to the local police for further investigation.
